Short to-do list: Write stuff in the 'universe' regarding use of magic, brief blurbs about important locations, and living statues. Add main characters from the second arc. Add references. Critical reception?

The word "Welkin" means "the vault of the sky; the heavens." Think that has any major significance to the novels?
