Is is not true any more that Cubs who earn their religious emblem can wear the corresponding square knot patch on their scout and adult uniform? GUllman 23:46, 28 October 2005 (UTC)
- IIRC, most, if not all, religious awards have a cub and a scouting version, and many of the religious awards cannot be earned while a cub scout. That being said, if a cub earned his religious award as a cub, he could wear it as a youth and an adult. However, this award isn't limited to cub scouting, which is why I feel it should not be listed in the article

- Well, it's a question of the interpretation of the phrase "from Cub Scouting". The quote does appear to be taken word for word from the Virtual Cub Leader's Handbook. But, although the religious emblems are given by the various religions, so they don't actually "come from" the Cub Scouts of America, ... they can be earned while a Cub Scout, the award may be worn on the Cub uniform, and they have a corresponding knot patch for the adult uniform. So that's why I would tell people the religious emblem knot and the Arrow of Light knot that I wore as an adult were both "from Cub Scouting". GUllman 03:49, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
