The Pulitzer web site doesn't list Miller as a winner in any year. I can't find nominees on the site. The two references only say he was nominated in 1935, as far as I can tell.

You are correct: He was nominated three times, but never won. I added a cite to a book which lists nominees. (I can find it in Google books, but that URL is temporary and I can't find a way to link permanently to it.) -

The article states Miller met Gandhi during his visit to India. His autobiography 'I found no peace' states he did not meet Gandhi in India. Gandhi was in prison at the timeand the authorities refused to let Miller visit him. He actually interviewed Gandhi in his hotel in London. Also article state Miller was a life long vegetarian. However in his autobiography it states he stated to eat meat in his 20s. — Preceding
