I want to improve this article. I'm putting it on my watchlist. My dad graduated from this school in 1974.

There was nothing on the page before! The additions look fine. You can edit it all you want, 'cept that a few errors were made. AND I am writing from a student's point of view putting all the information that I know and have experienced. The article now reflects how the school is now. If you have any information on how the school used to be before, say 2000, be my guest. Besides, you wanted more information in it, right? and from what I saw, there weren't any "improvements" since before I started adding to the article.

I recommend the article Alumnae Hall of Fame (Wakefield High School) be mergred into article Wakefield High School (Arlington County, Virginia). A seperate page is not necessary. Joneboi 14:53, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Image:Wakefieldva.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I am assessing this article for WikiProject Schools. While this article is a decent length it is poorly sourced and needs to be trimmed down to content of interest to a wider audience ( WP:WPSCH/AG#WNTI), hence I am demoting it to Start-class. The trivia section should be merged into the rest of the article per WP:TRIVIA. The speech by Barack Obama alone is very significant and should get a bit more prominence in the article; it received national coverage and is certainly not trivia! That alone is probably enough for Mid-importance, however it was only of short-term interest so nothing higher than this. Camaron · Christopher · talk 18:20, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just attempted to maintain the sources on Wakefield High School (Arlington County, Virginia). I managed to add archive links to 1 source, out of the total 1 I modified, whiling tagging 0 as dead.
Please take a moment to review my changes to verify that the change is accurate and correct. If it isn't, please modify it accordingly and if necessary tag that source with {{
cbignore}}
to keep Cyberbot from modifying it any further. Alternatively, you can also add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page's sources altogether. Let other users know that you have reviewed my edit by leaving a comment on this post.
