The beginning of the article talks of garments in general; however, much of the content makes sense only for dresses. To start at the beginning:
OK, so it could maybe apply to some styles of coat as well. But can't a waistline also be the edge of a garment - the bottom of a top, or the top of a bottom?
That said, I'm not sure to what extent the "Types of waistlines" section could be improved on this basis. Unless you count styles of waistband on trousers and the like, but I'm not sure if that's the same thing.... -- Smjg 17:35, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
