In fact, the tallest structure in DC is the WBDC mast at 9th and Peabody Streets, NW. The tower, of unique "star" design, was built in 1989 and stands 761 feet (232 meters). It carries the broadcast signals of WBDC, channel 50 and WBDC-DT, channel 51, among others. It is owned by the District of Columbia." reply
