Warning: Weasel words!

The use of weasel words in this article is somewhat troubling, and ultimately seems to make this page read like a put-down of any and all superhero porn parodies that are not produced by Vivid ("Hardcore Parody...seems to have an even smaller budget and scope than Extreme Comixxx" "production value and general quality are significantly in less quantity than that of Vivid Superhero."). -- jayunderscorezero ( talk) 21:31, 2 June 2011 (UTC) reply

Lack of focus/Non-Vivid superhero porn parodies

It's dubious whether a long list of films produced by other companies (not to mention the "background" section that delves into the history of superhero porn parodies as a whole) even belongs on a page titled "Vivid Superhero." Perhaps if this page were renamed "Superhero Pornographic Parodies in Film" or something. -- jayunderscorezero ( talk) 21:22, 2 June 2011 (UTC) reply

Replacing History

Part of what sets Vivid Superhero apart from other similar studios is the level of detail in the writing, designs, and cast (hence why I made the decision to make them a page over the others). If not a history section, what section could be made to make this distinction against the other studios cashing in on Vivid's success? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alucardbarnivous ( talkcontribs) 21:20, 6 June 2011 (UTC) reply

The problem really is that it seems impossible to write what you'd want to write without sounding incredibly subjective. Even phrases like "other studios cashing in on Vivid's success" are terribly loaded and come off as both fannish and unencyclopaedic when placed into an article.
If you want something listing and comparing different superhero porn parody films from different studios, then as I suggested, perhaps creating a separate page for that would be the best thing. Inserted here, it seems like essay-ish writing and original research is encroaching on an article that is ostensibly supposed to be about a single film studio. -- jayunderscorezero ( talk) 09:12, 7 June 2011 (UTC) reply
