So this is a compound that ( according to Pubchem) was patented in 1986 (thirty years ago) and per our article, the activity against cholera was discovered in 2005. (11 years ago). I looked and found no sign of clinical development or any commercial or NGO involvement in making this an actual drug. So for now it is what we call a "tool compound" - something people use to do research.
if people have refs showing it is being used clinically or is undergoing development as a drug, happy to see those refs. Jytdog ( talk) 03:38, 13 December 2016 (UTC)
