My apologies—I forgot I was working on the Videodisc article, and not the SelectaVision one. :-P I'll fix it later, as I'm too tired right now. I will note (again) that it was a word-for-word copy from here: http://www.ericfacility.net/databases/ERIC_Digests/ed270103.html
What do the dates next to the format names signify? They don't appear to be the date of invention, and they're certainly not the date of public release of the first players or media. They're not labeled, so I can't hazard a guess. Here are a couple of online references for RCA SelectaVision and MCA DiscoVision. (Rename the links if you use them as references.)
Look subj.
[1] - this scene is widely reported to have been filmed using "Videodisc" to produce a reverse action image without tracking marks. However none of the formats on this article for up to 1970 sound particularly promising for what was done here. Any ideas? Romomusicfan ( talk) 13:49, 22 September 2022 (UTC)
