It looks to me like the author of the HG101 article used as a source in this article is a reliable source. Sergei Servianov has written for The Gamer's Quarter, and seems to have been engaged in video game journalistic efforts for a fairly long time. The article cited on this page is part of the "Games of the World" series which provides video game related cultural information on non-Western (North- and Central-Asian) countries from the early to mid 2000s. -
