i'm too lazy, but someone should consider adding a note about it the manga is of the same name, and its produced by square enix, serialized in GanGan powered —Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.171.11.192 ( talk) 02:22, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
I don't know if that is rly of interest for this article, but maybe you should note a bug in the euopean version, that keeps you from completing the game: afte the battle against the White Dragon (you know this battle that updates Alicias and Rufus Soulcrushes), the games freezing shortly after you entered the battle screen ^_^ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.228.193.107 ( talk) 18:47, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
Freezing in this game is 99.9% caused by tripping the antipiracy and/or anticheat detection. If either gets tripped, a flag gets saved to all saves you make after the detection trips and before you restart the ps2 or it crashes. Most people who run into this tried to cheat at some point and saved with cheats. 50.21.206.241 ( talk) 00:10, 21 May 2016 (UTC)
And I'm not even sure *how*... It's complete crap as it is now, especially since the game is out... I think a pretty basic list of the "main cast" (Alicia, Rufus, Dylan, Lezard, Leone, Aluze, Brahms, Ahly, Odin, Frei) would suffice (maybe nods to Barbossa and the Mages of Dipan as well?), then lists of the Einherjar by their classes? (Like, "All of the Mages: [names here]" and etc.)
All the speculation about what characters might be in the game is a little much, isn't it? Let's trim it down to what little info anf facts we have on the game.

Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria is the correct title of the game, as evidenced by the official site. I suggest that it be moved to the proper name.-- Claude 08:55, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
--I would also suggest marking any sort of speculation or even character facts as potential spoilers of the game's plot. -- 140.104.224.14 18:28, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
-VP2:S is the name of the game. It's not on the english part of the logo, but the jp over says 2. The side of the the case says 2 in jp. The booklets says 2 in english. A couple of things here and there say 2. This game isn't really a prequal so it is 2.

the last 2 paragraphs had too much preditcions, and those comments were proven totally wrong in the actual gameplay...
however, futhur explaination requires spoiler (if one tries to explain those stuff, bascially there will be no secret left in the game...) so instead of putting the whole story up, i decided to just take those 2 paragraphs out...
I went through and made a number of factual edits, but I am most definately not a good writer. If someone could go through and check for grammar and such it would be appreciated. For the most part I changed little of the formatting and focused primarily on changing any errors as best I could, but a good amount of formatting edits would benefit this article.
While editing I noticed that much of this article is in the future tense as if expecting the game to come out, I think that now that the game is out it should be switched to past tense and I did the best I could to remedy this.
A number of facts are probably still incorrect, and it would probably be good to get some exact numbers (eg. about 40 einherjahr are estimated to be in the game should be changed to the exact number) 207.172.78.4 00:43, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

The game is actually a sequel. Time travel mucks things up a bit, but the events in VP: Silmeria cannot happen until after the events of VP: Lenneth. Calling this game a prequel of VP:L is akin to calling back to the future 3 a prequel to back to the future. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 207.172.78.4 ( talk) 05:46, 8 December 2006 (UTC).
It is a sequel chronologically by release, a prequel by storyline. Prequel is a bad word anyway, as it denotes a SEQUEL to a property, i.e. a release of the second game after the original, in whose story occurs on a timeline before its predecessor(s). The story section reflects this without using the word "prequel". - Daisenji
I'd like to know if there are any rumors regarding a PSP port of this game. I'd really like to get my hands on one! Gautam Discuss 04:10, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
