I removed the speedy tag that another editor had added. The subject is probably notable, but the article needs to be expanded with material translated from ru:Полянский, Валерий Кузьмич Eastmain ( talk • contribs) 05:08, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
In the text of the Russian version of the article (and in old versions of this article) claimed that Polyansky received State Prizes of Russian Federation of 1994 and 2010 (in the lead) and 1996 (in the Award section). I have checked the Ukazes (decisions of Russian President) and could only find that he received the State Prize of 1995 (awarded in 1996). He certainly did not received the prize of 1993,1994,1996,2009,2010 or 2011 - I have checked the corresponded Ukazes. I removed the dubious awards Alex Bakharev ( talk) 00:12, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
