There have been several attempts to assert a name change to "Universal Media" without sources or evidence - please note Wikipedia uses sourced material (see WP:RS - please provided evidence (i.e. a site link) for name change.
Note that the global site umww.com mostly on mentions "UM" but both the T&C's page here and the Privacy policy here state "UM – Universal McCann". Also country sites such as UM Germany have a page title "Universal McCann Deutschland" although other sites like the Albanian are listed as "Universal Media Albania". Also the mobile site here has "© Universal McCann All Rights Reserved"
It would appear that that the official company name is still Universal McCann so if the company is officially renaming then please supply a source that shows this. KylieTastic ( talk) 18:53, 26 October 2016 (UTC)
This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest was declined. Some or all of the changes weren't supported by neutral, independent, reliable sources. Consider re-submitting with content based on media, books and scholarly works. |
Please replace entire last paragraph for accuracy with: UM employs more than 3,200 people across 90+ offices in North America, APAC, Latin America, and EMEA. The agency's global headquarters are in New York City, and other locations in North America include Los Angeles, San Francisco, Detroit, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, and Calgary.
It is not accurate/is outdated.
