6000+ characters, created w/in 7-day bound of nomination, interesting hook (irrational humans FTW!), hook fact source accepted in good faith, sources look good EXCEPT see note 4 below, NPOV all good (intellectual push-pull is amply covered), no evidence of plagiarism
RECOMMENDED HOOK EDIT:

I've deleted the Lehrer-sourced paragraph and renamed the section heading as suggested.

individuals were willing to pay $38 for a $50 gift card, but were only willing to pay $28 for a lottery ticket that would yield a $50 or $100 gift card with equal probability.I'm getting stuck on how that is valuing the $50 gift card as "less than" the lottery ticket. The WTP given in the summary section does not match the values given in the origin section although seemingly referring to the same study: In origin: "individuals were – on average – willing to pay $26.10 for the $50 giftcard, $45.00 for the $100 giftcard, but only $16.12 for the lottery" In summary: "individuals were willing to pay $38 for a $50 gift card, but were only willing to pay $28 for a lottery ticket that would yield a $50 or $100 gift card"
The summary values are from the real stakes study while the origin values are from the theoretical study, both described in the cited article. I think either one experiments should be used throughout the article or it needs to be market that they are from 2 distinct experiments. Cipheme ( talk) 14:14, 7 January 2023 (UTC)
