refugee transport 10/1950?

If possible I would like to find out if this ship was used to transport my family in October, 1950 from Germany to New York? Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.11.140.203 ( talk) 16:29, 28 May 2009 (UTC) reply

USS General Harry Taylor (AP-145) USNS General Hoyt S. Vandenberg (T-AGM-10) – final name of the ship, and name used for the reef when she was sunk, so still the name of the ship; also her service as radar and communications ship is more significant than her history as a transport. She served longer as the Vandenberg than any other name. --Relisted.  —  Amakuru ( talk) 09:32, 21 October 2013 (UTC) -- 65.92.181.39 ( talk) 10:19, 30 September 2013 (UTC) reply
