I would like to say I was a punk in the 80s and I never heard of ANYTHING called UK82 till I started reading the internet recently!!! We called it HARDCORE!! Looks like the Hardcore Punk artical has been taken over by US hardcore...!!
I suggest that this article be merged with the street punk entry. —Preceding
