After creating an article for a federal courthouse that was listed on the
National Register of Historic Places as U.S. Courthouse I then disovered that there are several others listed in the NRHP. They were then redlinked to this page as shown by the "what links here" function so I created a disam page. Another editor converted this to a redirect, and when I approached them they simply referenced
WP:OWN (odd since they don't seem to want their redirect edited) without any sort of policy based rationale. Which is better?

A disambiguation page seems to be the better choice here. There is no obvious US Courthouse that the reader might be searching for, so setting up a redirect to a particular one is unnecessary.--
