The article should be saying 'tvOS' as per the Manual of Style on trademarks, capital letters and article titles. The Manual of Style says to 'Capitalize the title's initial letter (except in rare cases, such as eBay), but otherwise follow sentence case, not title case; e.g., Funding of UNESCO projects, not Funding of UNESCO Projects. This does not apply where title case would be expected were the title to occur in ordinary prose. See Wikipedia:Naming conventions (capitalization) for more details.' Also in the Manual of Style on trademarks 'avoid: He said that EBay is where he bought his IPod. instead, use: He said that eBay is where he bought his iPod'. Furthermore, the Manual of Style on capital letters 'For trademarks, editors should choose among styles already in common use (not invent new ones)'. The term 'tvOS' is always in use everywhere in the media and in reliable, independent sources like the references in the article. We should not be making up new capitalizations like 'TvOS' and 'TVOS'. Tom29739 ( talk) 22:49, 9 January 2016 (UTC)

TvOS → TVOS – I've thought about it, and I think the title is more appropriate in all caps. With iOS, the actual products are the iPhone and iPad, their correct names. The official name for this device is the Apple TV, and "TV" is not formatted in lower-case letters in this case, which is why I think the name would be more appropriate in all caps. 2601:8C:4001:DCB9:4C67:276E:19E3:C6D2 ( talk) 01:51, 27 May 2017 (UTC)

Hello!
After nearly 2 years of inactivity, a new beta software for the 3rd gen Apple TV has been released! It was released just today, version number 7.3 (12H825), which adds the brand new Apple TV app into the old software even though it didn't get the same beautiful UI as it is in tvOS... I don't know how to highlight the boxes so could someone do that for me?
Note: The brand new TV app should arrive in May, and that's nearly 2 months from now.
Thanks a lot! AppleExpert1214 — Preceding unsigned comment added by AppleExpert1214 ( talk • contribs) 04:36, 28 March 2019 (UTC)

The MediaWiki software is configured so that a page title on the English Wikipedia (as stored in the database) cannot begin with a lower-case letter, and links that begin with a lower-case letter are treated as if capitalized, i.e. [[foo]] is treated the same as [[Foo]].
{{
lowercase title}}
template is used to make the page title start with a lower-case letter, but that doesn't affect the URL.
