Error in the sentence :"After 1400, Inca Pachacuti ruled over Tumbes"

Pachacuti never ruled Tumbes. It was captured by the Chimor c. 1450 and only after the Chimor were defeated by Topa Inca Yupanqui c. 1470 Tumbes became part of the Inca empire. אביהו ( talk) 06:57, 21 May 2022 (UTC) reply

Date of foundation

I deleted the "founded" date from the sidebar. It makes no sense to say that an existing city, which the article describes as "well organized", was founded only when Pizarro conquered it in 1532. By that criterion one could argue that Strasbourg was founded in 1944, when France last took control. Perhaps some formal event like chartering happened in 1532, but not founding.
