included in this article to
improve its quality. Please replace this template with a more specific
media request template where possible.
Taking a look at both of those papers, I find that neither mention the Gough hotspot, so I think that it would be fine to remove the reference entirely, particularly as the 2003 paper is only about the Indian Ocean hotspots. The 2005 paper, already cited, is fine for that purpose.
