WOW!! This article needs LOTS of work, Jim ( talk) 13:13, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
The treasure maps section is duplicated as a separate article here. Much of the text is the same, but they've diverged slightly over time. Probably the mappy stuff should be removed from this article with a stub-section and a {{main|treasure map}} tag used to send people off to that article.
I'll fix it myself in a while if no-one else does. Possibly. Squiddy | (squirt ink?) 15:03, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
Under 'Pirates' - 'raiding the train at Nombre de Dios' - I presume this refers to the Spanish Silver Train.
I'll come back to this later and put in the link, unless someone thinks it's not the case - authors? Wodawik ( talk) 01:07, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Treasure's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT ⚡ 14:15, 21 October 2014 (UTC)
