Why do we call the 2018 movie a reboot? The trailer makes it seem like a prequel. 87.247.13.247 ( talk) 10:00, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
The articles and development timeline considers Anniversary as a mainline entry, and thus, Shadow of the Tomb Raider becomes the 12th mainline entry. However, Shadow is generally considered the 11th game, with the currently in-development TR game being referred to as Tomb Raider 12.
The redirects in Wikipedia are also set that way: Tomb Raider 7 redirects to Legend, while Tomb Raider 8 redirets to Underworld, with Anniversary in-between being omitted.
To solve this, I propose:
Option 1: modify articles not to refer Anniversary as a mainline entry,
or
Option 2: modify redirects such that Tomb Raider 8 sends to Anniversary, with Tomb Raider 12 sending to Shadow, and so forth. Merko ( talk) 02:36, 11 June 2022 (UTC)
Really should edit this because it is very wrong. You never even mentioned the first game. 67.246.120.54 ( talk) 16:36, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
