"'Titan' as name for the spaceship is an homage to the possibility that Titan can bear life."

Sorry, but it's more likely to be a reference to the fact that the Titan was a huge great spaceship of 'titanic proportions', and to legends surrounding the Titans of Greek mythology.

I'm not going to scrub delete this reference just yet, but somebody might like to verify it,

I removed it. This article is about references to Titan the moon in fiction, not just objects that happen to have the same name. If the claim is true, then put it back and give a source for the claim.-- JyriL talk 19:03, 24 August 2006 (UTC) reply

The Norby series

I remember reading in one of the Isaac Asimov Norby books as a kid that Norby and his owner accidentally teleported to a German-speaking colony on Titan, but I can't remember which one it was. Can anyone help? Serendipodous 18:32, 18 February 2007 (UTC) reply
