This article is an extension of the Timeline of the presidency of Barack Obama (2009), (2010), (2011), (2012), (2013), (2014) and (2015). Over the past seven years the original articles have been edited with brevity and clarity as the guiding precepts. The following (What to include) were some tips from the very beginning that have seemed to work to keep the articles "grounded". ``` Buster Seven Talk 11:25, 1 January 2016 (UTC)
During the AfD discussion in 2008 there were worries brought up about the content of the evolving articles. As this should be decided here rather than there, I thought I'd give a quick stab at trying to lay out what is suitable info to add and what is not. ...to all the editors, @ PatTag2659:, @ Altenmann:, @ Onghai1929: and the IP editor 99.235.156.199, that set up this final year of the Obama Timelines. It is remarkable that these timeline articles had managed to stay out of the fray of political conflicts for these many years.
