The date of Eve Adams' arrest is incorrect
The date of Eve Adams' arrest is incorrect on this list. In my biography of Eve I state: "Just two days after that boisterous poetry reading, on Thursday, June 17, 1926, Eve was arrested in her tearoom by policewoman Margaret M. Leonard, two other policewomen, and two policemen." Jonathan Ned Katz, author of The Daring Life and Dangerous Times of Eve Adams (Chicago Review Press, 2021), p. 65. Jnkatz1
