Brylawski is notable under WP:NPROF criteria C1. He is highly cited in a low-citation field; C1 is further supported by the memorial conference and memorial journal issue.
I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: What a pleasure to see a new(ish) user contribute a proper article on an encyclopaedic topic – thank you! Have you considered submitting this to Wikipedia:Did you know, I wonder?.

A recent IP editor added to the article that Brylawski was charged in 1995 with assault on his girlfriend at the time, sourced to a contemporaneous issue of the Chapel Hill campus newspaper [1]. I wasn't able to find any other coverage of the case, nor evidence of conviction or university disciplinary action. If this were a WP:BLP, then we would need to remove this information with speed; for a biography of a non-living person, I still think it is probably WP:UNDUE without stronger sourcing or probably a conviction/similar. Pinging for a second opinion @ David Eppstein: who has greater experience with math biographies than I, and who may have better Google-fu than I for finding sources; also @ Mvitulli: who has shown interest both in math biographies and in professional situations where men behave badly.
