OK, I'm glad we got the language of the first paragraph worked out! Let's say we try to flesh out this article. Great film -- certainly deserves it.-- Mantanmoreland 18:20, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
I'm adding some details. Feel free to pitch in-- Mantanmoreland 13:20, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
Changed "Jujutsu" to "Kung-Fu" under the Wongs -- Jujutsu is from Japan, Kung-Fu is from China, the Wongs are ethnically Chinese, and the fighting style in the movie is entirely Kung-Fu, not Ju-Jutsu. To say otherwise is the height of ethnic ignorance. —Preceding

Who cares about your opinion? Stop editing and watch the movie. In the movie Joey (John Friedrich) tells Perry (Tony Ganios) they all know jujutsu, not kung fu!!! -- Wildsparrow ( talk) 00:28, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
Hey, I allways thought Del Shannon Performed "The Wanderer" in this Movie. I could easily be mistaken, because I can't find any information about him performing this song at all. If anyone of you has some info on this matter I will krown him/her King/Queen of Music Trivia if he/she tells me. thx. PhiloPizzaFreak ( talk) 09:58, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
I have seen two (UK) cuts of this film. The original cinema release and then video copies did not include Turkey's death scene, which made the reference to the Ducky boys killing him at the football game confusing. I then saw a cut which did include it (a gay subtext if I remember, but it was a long time ago) Does anyone know why this scene was cut from the cinema release and the first video copies? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.31.85.220 ( talk) 07:38, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
I would imagine that including the films genre in the first line is standard for Wikipedia movie entries but to the best of my knowledge there is no such movie genre as a "greaser film". (The Wikipedia entry for List of Genres for fiction and entertainment does not include a listing for it)
The Wanderers is a drama. I would change it myself but I have been shut down for this more than once by self declared Wiki Police so I stopped editing. If you guys really want to create something reliable and definitive you might cut down on the pettiness and instead establish a little more standardization for such things. 138.32.11.245 ( talk) 16:45, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
Screw it, I'm changing it. Let's see how long it is before some jackass changes it back because I'm not one of the self appointed elite. 138.32.11.245 ( talk) 16:49, 19 March 2014 (UTC)

Currently third on my "to review" list, after " Mr. Monk Gets a New Shrink" and Kayla Mueller. BenLinus 1214 talk 23:48, 1 August 2015 (UTC) @ Metal121: There appear to be a good number of issues in the article, particularly with sourcing and scope. I think that you might be able to fix the issues in time, and I can give you ten days if you want. Also, if you want even a few months to work on it, I can fail it for now and you can renominate in the future. Just let me know what you want to do! Sorry for using an article that I've expanded extensively, but Boys Don't Cry is a good example page. Of course, it doesn't have to be that comprehensive (I'm preparing it for FAC), but some more detail in some areas would be nice. Anyways, let's get this started:
@ Metal121: This is so much better! I can't believe that you made so many changes so quickly. Good for you! On ref 2, is the other link in an archive somewhere? It's okay if not, but I would prefer it. Yes, the critical reception goes below the box office performance. Currently, it is the other way around. I have a fewM more major comments:
Once again, it's amazing that you fixed this stuff so quickly--you seem to have a really great work ethic on these kinds of things! It's relatively close to passing. BenLinus 1214 talk 23:37, 6 August 2015 (UTC)
Hi BenLunis1214, I have addressed all of your issues and concerns raised. I feel the article has been greatly improved and was wondering if you could have another look at your GA review. The OR has been removed from the article as requested. Also, I don't believe "ref 2" is archived, but if you look at ref 16 in the reference section, I believe that the information there includes the details of the interview the info in "ref 2" was taken from. As said before, there aren't no links in there to the actual interview, as the website is no longer running itself. Thanks again! I look forward to hearing back from you. -- Metal121 ( talk), 00:58, August 08, 2015 (GMT).
@ Metal121: By the way, would you consider doing a quid pro quo review at GAN? I have several nominations up currently in the television section, and they don't seem like they're getting picked up. I would really appreciate it! They're all on Veronica Mars episodes. Johanna (aka BenLinus1214) talk to me! see my work 03:23, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
Sure Johanna (aka BenLinus1214) I think that's totally fair. Give me a few hours and I'll start searching through your GA nominations! All the best, Martin. -- Metal121 ( talk), 06:35, August 08, 2015 (GMT).
