Unusual for having a hero as the main character??? I thought that was the point of most stories? The hero is the main character or at least the second main character. Sorry I can't help on this one.

As opposed to a heroine - most of
Heyer's historical novels centre around the main female character. That's obviously not clear enough on this page; thanks, I'll clear it up. --

I've reworded the initial section, and am planning on adding more detail over the next week or so. Then I intend to work my way through other Heyer novels.

I've added a list of characters, but someone else should check that the characters are correctly assigned as major or minor; in particular, I'm not sure about Ben.
