Is there any evidence to support the assertion that Frank Roberts was allowed by his brother to "escape across the "Canadian border"? Last I checked, Canada was separated from Nebraska by a couple of Dakotas and more than 500 miles.

I think there is confusion here between Springsteen's song and the movie - Bruce references the Canadian border but in the movie he crosses the state line. I just watched the end of the movie and the sign says simply "state line" and is not clear which state he is crossing into. I will change it.
