Added Chris Morris quote back and updated with some info on the current incarnation of the band. -- Rhockens ( talk) 19:36, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
Moving this bit off the main page. I had originally misattributed it to X's John Doe. It was later modified to indicate the correct author (as well as more info on that author than seemed relevant in the intro to the band). I'll work this back in later in the article. Parked here for now:
Chris Morris (former senior writer at Billboard, music editor at The Hollywood Reporter and critic at The Los Angeles Reader [1]) described them as having "made some of the toughest, most nihilistic music on the scene." [2]

Although one member of the trio has reformed the group under the name the Alley Cats (see article), I had originally written "The Alley Cats were..." using the past tense to stress that the Alley Cats of L.A. punk fame are effectively no more. Should it be "The Alley Cats are..." (a recent change by another author) or in this context, is past tense more appropriate? Rhockens ( talk) 09:18, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
Replaced some iffy sources with citations from John Doe's memoir and a recent interview with Randy Stodola. Would it be appropriate to remove the warning about sources or could some kind editor have a fresh look and give me an opinion on the source quality? (Adding my signature though this comment was made a year or so ago.) Rhockens ( talk) 09:15, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
