Iceland - Separate number series for pizza orders? Sounds unlikely to me. Carpetson ( talk) 17:54, 26 July 2011 (UTC) reply

Belgium is missing on this page.

Table format

Considering almost all the content was moved out of this article, I put the remainder into (sortable) table format. Some notes:

  • The {{hiddenkey|&}} before every numeric code causes the numeric codes sort as numeric prefixes, not as ordinary numbers. This is necessary because they're not all the same length.
  • Not all the countries have their international calling-out prefixes filled in yet.
  • There's very little content in the article right now... it's really just a list. At very least I think there should be some sort of "notes" column in the tables with notable features of the different calling plans.
  • Should the 2 tables be combined?

Hope this is a step in the right direction. I'm eyeing Telephone numbers in Asia for the same format change. -- Tanketz 05:24, 2 November 2007 (UTC) reply

Open / closed dialing plan

I don't know what the "dialing plan" column means, and the dialing plan article doesn't seem to give any insight. Anyone care to add some explanation? Oliphaunt ( talk) 22:10, 7 October 2008 (UTC) reply

Merger proposal

I propose that Telephone numbers in the European Union be merged into Telephone numbers in Europe. I think that the content in the European Union article can easily be explained in the context of Europe, and the Europe article is of a reasonable size that the merging of European Union will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Igor Naumov ( talkcontribs) 08:03, 15 May 2014 (UTC) reply

National trunk prefixes in tables

Is there anything that speaks against having a column with the national trunk prefix in the tables, as given in the infobox for individual Telephone-numbers-in <country> pages? If not, I'd start adding it. -- Uncopy ( talk) 10:54, 25 April 2022 (UTC) reply

The column is now present in the first table (countries of European Union). -- Uncopy ( talk) 15:44, 25 April 2022 (UTC) reply
I added the column in second table (Other European countries/territories) as well. -- Uncopy ( talk) 17:33, 26 April 2022 (UTC) reply
