What is the etymology of "Umizoomi"? Shikku27316 ( talk) 02:21, 22 April 2013 (UTC) reply

International release section cut

Earlier today I deleted the entire "International release" section with a lengthy explanation in the edit summary. For purposes of clarification, I'm opening the edit up to discussion here.

MOS:TV#Broadcast encourages a section called "Broadcast", not "International release". "Broadcast" should contain, in prose form, the English-speaking countries that also aired the show (assuming the show originated in an English-speaking country). Countries where English is not the native language should be mentioned in prose, only if notable. So if Pakistan aired an episode of Team Umizoomi for some notable reason before the episode aired in the U.S., that would be worth mentioning. However, since Wikipedia is not a TV guide, simply listing every country that aired the show does not seem consistent with the existing guidelines. Not sure if a complete list is needed, but if it is, it can be fit into the target article. The only reason NOT to would be if this list is woefully incomplete and there is an expectation that it will grow too big to fit into the target page. davidwr/( talk)/( contribs) 🎄 23:44, 18 December 2020 (UTC) reply
