Hi, my amylaze is gone from 364 to 208 to 479 and now to 280. I have no pain, no symptoms, although this came out of a simple lab work. I am no medical person so please explain this to me like a 2 year old although I´m 40. The CT showed that all my organs are very good except that the tail of my pancreas is swollen. What can cause this? What therapies are available? What are the questions to ask my doctor? Is this treatable? What diet (specific) can help calm this down? I live in Germany but I´m American.

Desparate

I am sorry, but Wikipedia does not give medical advise. Kind regards JakobSteenberg ( talk) 10:40, 2 April 2013 (UTC) reply

Small stub already on Pancreas page most of info on this page is at odds with cited info elsewhere - shall merge -- Iztwoz ( talk) 21:40, 18 August 2016 (UTC) reply

head or tail

I found this comment in the article:

(tail or head? article edited - research suggests the head, not the tail)

Can someone find a source for this research and update appropriately or remove. -- Nerdwithagun ( talk) 00:47, 21 March 2014 (UTC) reply
