Recent good faith edit; instating non-standard connotation

The recent edit by Pfa; here, removes the standard connotation of an initialism, favoring the ambiguity that could ensue when the initialism is next used in the article; standing free. It is common to introduce an intialism when the noun is first spelled out and I am curious as to why the previous editor would disagree. Can you explain this, and perhaps reinstate the former content? Thank you. -- Miss Tercy ( talk) 22:42, 2 June 2014 (UTC) reply
