I added a mentioning of CSP back in 2012. I have now edited that paragraph.
But I am in doubt whether it is in scope to mention CSP here. I tend to think both yes and no to this.
'Yes' because CSP does have deterministic choice (which also the occam and xC languages would have as their ALT and select), but also nondeterminstic choice (which is implemented in the select statement of Go). 'Yes' also because it is a contrast.
'No' because this deterministic choice plus (basically) synchronous channels do not make CSP (or languages derived from it) synchronous programming languages. Øyvind Teig ( talk) 10:00, 9 March 2023 (UTC)
