I added a section on the UN FAO components of a sustainable diet, and restructured the article (without deleting any major text) to create more of an outline structure with subheadings and group related subjects for readability. I moved the "motivation for awareness" section to just below the definition, added the headings "Sustainable Diets in Practice and "Sustainable Diets Moving Forward," and turned small paragraphs that were previously entire sections into subheadings under these categories. I also did some light editing for spelling and grammar. My goal was to improve the readability of the article without changing the original material substantially. I added a section on Panera's Low Carbon Meals initiative as an example of the larger-scale progression of sustainable diets. The sustainable diet article is very well developed and has a lot of really interesting components. I enjoy the broad range of ideas the authors try and cover to make the article as robust and integrative as possible. One recommendation I would have for this article is it almost seems to appear like too much is being addressed. I believe it would be better for the authors/editors to consolidate their findings into separate Wikipedia articles and link them to one another to have a better flow of themes. Reading this article was very informative, but also felt somewhat overwhelming and sporadic. Even so, I have learned more about sustainable diets after reading this article and feel like I am better able to think about my own dietary choices, their consequences, and their long-term effects. „The place of animal products in a sustainable diet“ is industry-funded junk science. I’ll just leave this as a warning here. Tischbeinahe ( talk) 06:41, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
