Welcome to Wikipedia! I agree, I think the most appropriate project is actually
WP:NEUROSCIENCE. Almost all physiology and anatomy articles have the potential to be under WPMED because of their relationship with disease, but because this is not a disease or symptom it probably belongs under the scope of another project. --
