Re prod. Note I'm not saying thier discovery of the latest Mersenne prime is not notable, just that one discovery does not a notable mathematician make. Anyway thats the prod proceses working, someone objected enough for me. -- Salix alba ( talk) 16:56, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
- I'd support an Afd. They didn't discover anything - the GIMPS software running on their machines did. The same software runs on my machine so if I get dealt the 10,000,000 digit prime, I get an article?! — Wknight94 ( talk) 04:54, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
