The damsel in distress is Princess Voi Levi, is that really a margarine? And Imatra isn't actually the final planet. I noticed one enemy is called Basulca which is slang for cocaine paste, or something. --

Yes, Voi Levi is (or at least was at the time of the game's release) a brand of margarine. The name means roughly "Butter Spread" in Finnish.
