It occurred to me today to wonder the origins of the photo of Stan's parents, and consequently why a photo taken in 1900 was marked as "own work". As you can see the uploader was StanDashew - if you google this user ID, you'll see that it's also used for the Stanley Dashew twitter account. This appears to be run by Josef Klus, the co-writer of Dashew's autobiography as, when announcing Stan's death and linking his obituary, it refers to the subject of this article as "my coauthor" and "the man whose biography I wrote". Looking at the article's edit history, we can see that not only did user JosefKlus create this page, but he also made a number of edits, as did user StanDashew, who I assume is Klus's sock. I am therefore marking this page with Template:Autobiography and Template:COI. I hope this is correct procedure and apologise if I selected one or both of these wrongly. The article is clearly fluffy as heck, but I don't know if I'm got the time or relevant project experience to eviscerate it as it probably deserves. Stroller ( talk) 04:22, 16 December 2014 (UTC)
