There isn't a full stop on the station nameboards, nor in the National Rail info page. Moreover, this full stop may be correct American English, but it's not correct British English: the convention is to put full stops on a contraction except where the contraction and the word contracted both end in the same letter. -- Redrose64 ( talk) 09:23, 9 November 2016 (UTC) reply

I don't know whether this is the work of our full stop happy friend but the first sentence is a bit nonsensical! - "St. James Street railway station formerly known as St James Street" Must get round to adding a bit of pre Wikipedia history to this page at some point. -- Davidvaughanwells ( talk) 18:13, 9 November 2016 (UTC) reply
