A new user is adding that the ride is defunct and changing the location. The Disney website continues to list in in operation and I am not bonded to this subject at all. I will leave this as a place for discussion. Ifnord ( talk) 22:54, 6 March 2021 (UTC)

It has been by many sources including Disney themselves that the attraction had closed today on January 23rd with its last day of operation being January 22nd

The songs featured in Splash Mountain were originally recorded for the Song of the South film, including "How Do You Do?," "Everybody's Got a Laughing Place," and "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah."
