Discrepancy in article

I just happened to notice that the article says "Often mistaken as the brother of Australian actress Daphne Pollard, in fact the two were not related despite their shared surname. ", however two of the sites that this article references (Golden Silents and IMDB) say that they /are/ related and the other one doesn't mention it. Is there a way whoever made this can cite where they got the information that they are not related? Some sites that agree with the author, for example, can be found at The Virtual Dime Museum or at Silent Era . I'm going to go ahead and use those citations on the main page.
