An article called "Snow Skate" would make more scence to me than "Snow skating." Any thoughts...
I think snowskating involves a skate deck and instead of wheels on the trucks, there are skis. They sell them on http://ccs.com/

I say go for it. It will be a longer task then normal but, it is feasible.
Place top level category name here(e.x: bindless snow board) is an extreme sport were participants use binding-free boards on flat or inclined snow to preform acrobatic and technical tricks similar to skateboarding and snowboarding.
Some time in the choose time here (early-mid-or-late) place year here
