About the last paragraph, is there any article talk about the sky islands in those places?

Most of the listed mountains have nothing on their individual article pages that would merit them being called "sky islands". Most mountains have a variety of life zones; that alone does not make a sky island. Let's dig up some sources to support these. Kortoso ( talk) 21:55, 3 October 2016 (UTC)

Readers in a hurry will see (the great) File:SkyIslands from SantaCatalinaMtns.JPG and think the article refers to mountains that appear float above clouds. So you might want to warn readers that it doesn't. Jidanni ( talk) 11:34, 1 March 2020 (UTC)
