Article's title

In my opinion the article should be Skin (singer) instead of Deborah Dyer because it's about her as a singer, and Skin is the name she uses. The article about Marylin Manson is entitled like that, not Brian Hugh Warner. Besides she has said in an interview for Vanity Fair Italy (18/01/2007 p. 103) that she doesn't like to be called Deborah except for her mother and brothers.

So I propose to start this article like Cher's entry: Skin (born Deborah Anne Dyer on 3 August 1967, Brixton, London)

Skin's Age

The following text was edited into the main article, but it was seemingly meant to be here:

The following is about a discrepancy for Skin's age. Here she is listed as being born on August 3, 1967, which would make her 39 years old. Yet, on her on personal myspace page she has her age listed at 29, which would make her date of birth, August 3, 1977...not 1967. Would someone please clarify this for me.

In response to this, I can clarify that it does indeed say Skin is 29 on her MySpace page. However, it once over said she was 14 years old. Skin is clearly joking around on here; her body type says "bodybuilder", too. Skin's birthday was August 3rd, 1967, although she still looks 29 ;-) Stoosh 16:06, 5 November 2006 (UTC) reply

Fair use rationale for Image:FakeChemicalState.jpg

Image:FakeChemicalState.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I rated this article as a B-Class. I believe that it gives adequate information on who Skin is and a brief background. It does, however, lack in certain areas. For example, details of her involvement with Skunk Anansie and details of her solo career lack much detail. Stoosh 04:52, 11 September 2006 (UTC) reply

Thank you.

Bisexual or Lesbian?

She's listed here at the bottom as being bi, but I thought she was just a lesbian. Are there any links to support her being bi or les? Ruth E ( talk) 01:37, 13 August 2008 (UTC) reply

She identifies herself as bisexual. According this article she had then a boyfriend. [1] 82.154.80.116 ( talk) 18:21, 17 April 2009 (UTC) reply

Assessment comment

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Skin (musician)/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.
