Aren't all robots situated? I'm not sure we need a "situated robotics" article seperate from this one. -- Jaibe 10:34, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
All robots are situated, but not every situated agent is a robot (at least, that is an open debate in AI.) If there are other meanings of situated, they should be added into this article, rather than having the content of this article removed.-- Jaibe 15:57, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
I've created a more general article Artificial intelligence, situated approach which intends to be the repository for this info. I suggest that instead of a Situated article you create a Situated systems article, putting the emphasis on the robotics viewpoint. DavidBourguignon ( talk) 09:36, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
Regarding the proposed merge with Artificial intelligence, situated approach:
I propose this page to refer to various terms - e.g. in computer science but also in social science. Consider the work by Donna Haraway on situated knowledge. -- Ingmar.lippert ( talk) 15:26, 11 June 2019 (UTC)
