Article requests : Add a section for notable members. See the template suggestion below.
Citing sources : Could use additional citations. These could be from
Baird's manual, or a notable publication or book, a university yearbook or official university portal for the student organization.
Wikify : Confirm that the color swatches have the correct shade of Forest Green. Add relevant symbolism to the infobox. The chapter list should be placed into a table format, like this:
Omega Tau Sigma or
Sigma Delta Rho (to reference two unrelated examples), OR called out with a
WP:hatnote as a separate standalone page if the list is lengthy. Chapter list should include dates of chartering. Indicate if a chapter is active by bolding its name, or if inactive by using italics. A table will allow room where chapter references may point to portal pages, and allow comments on where a chapter came from, interesting facts or its outcome. A table may also be used to showcase notable members, but to avoid vanity listings be sure to add a list of rules for inclusion, as discussed here: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Fraternities_and_Sororities/Archive_6#Notable_members_2. As an example,
Phi Kappa Theta does a nice job with their notable members list.

Proposed changes - preventing conflict
This
edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.
Specific text to be added or removed: Add Organization and Governance section - summarized from constitution, add list of historical presidents
Reason for the change: Gives insight into how the organization is governed, and lists presidents in order of term. These edits exist in the source code, and have been commented out, the source material for the constitution can be found in the listed URL, and the list of presidents is kept by SPS staff.
I see that this information has been added into the article. I removed the Presidents section as it was uncited. It can be readded when a source is provided. I also added a primary sources banner at the top of Organisation and governance because no secondary sources are provided to support this information. If no sources are found, then the information is probably not notable and can probably be removed. Closing this edit request.

Request edit - History section
This
edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.
Specific text to be added or removed: Add history section, possibly with 3 subsections: The society has gone through 4 major changes, 1.) starting as a fraternity, then 2.) transitioning to an honor society in 1934, then 3.) joining the student sections in 1968 at AIP to create the Society of Physics students. The fourth major change has not been published, but a section on 1968 to the present may be warranted.
Reason for the change: To add historical context to the society
This edit is accepted as it promotes more thorough coverage of the article subject. Preliminary edits have been made. Greater expansion will follow further research.
