I'm pretty sure Shituru and Tshituru are just alternate spellings of the same commune. See
fr:Tshituru. But I didn't immediately have any source on hand to confirm. 〈

I'm sure that the commune should be spelled Shituru as in the official document used as a reference in the
communes article and Tshituru seems to be a typical alternate spelling. Doing a search on the Radio Okapi website only comes up with Shituru for both the mine and the commune. As for a merger one article is about a commune and the other a mine.

The mining/commune distinction is a good idea, but I wish it was more clear: the lead in both pages claim to be talking about a commune. Maybe we can move the mining content from
Shituru to
Shituru mine, and the commune description from
Tshituru to
Shituru? 〈
