How can he be kurdish?
How can he be kurdish on the one hand, and claim to be descendant of the Prophet Muhammed(s.) on the other? The Prophet Muhammed(s.) was an arab, not a kurd! — Preceding

Claiming doesn't mean it's a 100% fact. Also, let's pretend he actually was a descendant of Muhammad, there would be a 1000 year old gap between them. Having a descendant of x ethnicity does mean you are of that very ethnicity, that's not how it works. --

Hello, but the problem is, the article describes "He was a Sayyid, a descendant of Prophet Muhammad." as if it is a fact. That's what I was criticizing. If it would be formulated as "He claimed to be a Sayyid" it would be better. With regards to the ethnicity: If there is a 1000 years gap between, how can he be sure to be a descendant of the Prophet Muhammed (s.)? And IF he is a descandant and he knows it, how can he call himself a kurd? Best regards, BergamottenTee. — Preceding
